TOOL MANUFACTURING:

Mol-Son's capabilities range from building high quality, complex, multiple insert, close tolerance production mold tooling to low volume and prototype tooling in short lead times.  Our normal tooling size would be in the 30 to 500 ton molding machine range.  The following are a few examples of different types of tools:

• 3-Plate

• Hot-Runner Tools

• Quick Change Units

• Shuttle/Rotary/Insert Molds

• Side Action With Lifters, Cams, Unscrewing, Etc.

Mol-Son has and continues to invest in state of the art equipment for our experienced moldmakers to utilize throughout the tool building process.  This investment allows us to operate around the clock within our 19,000 square foot shop that contains equipment such as CNC Milling, CNC EDM, and Wire EDM Centers.
