RADIO SPEAKER PROTOTYPE CONNECTOR:

A major electronics manufacturer requested a concept for a unique, special application, 2-blade connector.  Our customer faced a very critical deadline and needed parts as soon as possible.
Mol-Son's team of product and tooling design engineers and highly skilled mold making personnel jumped on the project to produce the required production intent prototype tooling.  The housing, 1.5mm male terminals, and ultrasonically welded cap tools were all designed, developed, and completed in four weeks.

These production level prototype tools were manufactured and parts were produced and available to meet the customer's critical build schedule.

When a major electrical / wire harness customer found themselves with a critical program and a compressed timing schedule, they approached Mol-Son to solve their problem with an aggressive delivery schedule.  Mol-Son worked with the customer to optimize the product design while facilitating the tool manufacturing process to eliminate unnecessary operations while reducing, combining, and replacing others.

Three complex, production intent, prototype molds to produce these sophisticated parts were designed, built, and sampled in less than eight weeks.  The customer was able to assemble these first sample run parts into their finished assembly and supply them to their O.E.M. customer.

The combination of project management, product and mold design engineering, skilled knowledgeable mold makers, advanced CAD/CAM software, and state of the art CNC equipment allowed Mol-Son, and in turn Mol-Son's customer, to exceed their customer's expectations.
